Being pregnant at Halloween doesn’t mean you can’t wear a silly costume and go kick it with the other party revelers.
There are tons of maternity Halloween costumes out there to choose from that you can wear at varying stages of pregnancy.
Some of Halloween costume ideas are pretty trippy. Like the ones with baby limbs hanging out.
But that’s some freaky shit and you won’t find any of that here. You will find these sexy mommas though.
Maternity Halloween Costumes
1. Female Cupcake Costume
This cupcake costume is one of my faves. It’s so pretty! It’s cute (very pink) and classy looking all at the same time. The little cherry hat is just the perfect topping too.
Note, this costume has a hard plastic hoop inside which forms the base of the cupcake. If your belly/waist area is any larger than 55″ this may not be the most comfortable costume for you.
2. Kangaroo Pajamas
OK, these are actually PJs but they do make an adorable looking Kangaroo Halloween costume for pregnant women.
Look at that irresistible little Joey peaking out from mama kangeroo’s pouch. Love it!
3. Donald Duck Pajamas
Another great PJ costume idea. As with the ‘roo costume above, you don’t have to worry about the size of your tummy with this Donald Duck Pajama Costume.
If you’re heavily preggers you just can work the belly into the look. A simple Halloween costume idea for expectant mothers.
4. The Adult Pea
Be a cute pea in a pod. I reckon having a bit of a pregnancy belly with this adult pea Halloween costume would look pretty darn cool. Bear in mind though that the waist/belly measurement of this outfit is less than 48″.
5. Adult Bumble Bee
Now you can have a lot of fun with this bumble bee costume, even if you have a belly the size of a small planet. It’s very room and looks really comfortable too.
6. Adult Lady Bug
An adorable adult ladybug costume which once again has plenty of room to house a larger maternity bump.
7. The Blueberry
Ever fancied the thought of painting your face blue and wearing big cartoon hands? This adult berry costume will allow you to indulge that little fantasy, with plenty of room to nestle your baby bump.
Note, the cartoon hands are an optional extra.
8. Deviled Egg Costume
Dress up as a deviled egg why don’t you! This would certainly work with the bumb and the costume has got a fair bit of room to it – up to approx. 56″ around the belly/waist area.
9. The Present – As a Maternity Halloween Costume
You’re carrying the greatest, most precious gift in life, so why not stick a gift box around it.
While this present costume looks like is has a ton of room inside, looks can be deceiving. There’s actually only about 45″ around the waist and belly area to work with, so it’s more suitable for early pregnancy.
10. Maternity Rag Doll Halloween Costume
Now how did a rag doll fall pregnant? No idea but you’ll sure have a lot of fun explaining yourself to your friends and family when you dress up in a maternity rag doll costume.
11. Maternity Pirate
Well shiver me timbers, is that a preggers pirate I see before me? Be sassy with this fine maternity pirate Halloween costume.
12. Sexy Princess Leia Costume
Don’t want to hide the bump?
Here’s a gorgeous princess Leia slave girl costume for you sexy momma’s to be. Now go rock that pregnant belly with pride girl!
13. Mother Superior Nun
No, that old classic – the nun costume – hasn’t been forgotten. It may not be original but boy is this one of the easiest, least fussy and most comfortable Halloween costume for pregnant women of all shapes and sizes.
Check out the plus size version too if your bump is quite large.

14. Adult Baby Costume
The guy in this picture looks like he’s due a diaper change 🙂
Still, it’s a cute adult baby couples costume for parents to be that’ll make you both stand out in the crowd.
Note, there is a plastic hoop inside these costumes, but that rests on the hip/leg area, so there is plenty of tummy room.
15. Mrs / Mr Potato Head
Remember the potato heads? A fun double duo potato head costume which will raise a smile or two.
16. Adam and Eve
This nude Adam and Eve costume is great for the pregnant gal because the material allows a little room for the bump. You also get be the first pregnant woman in the world. How awesome is that!
